In 1999, Saeed marked his cinematic debut by taking on a negative role in Samina Peerzada’s film, “Inteha.” To his astonishment, this initial venture into acting earned him the prestigious National Award for Best Actor. However, the challenging conditions within the Pakistani film industry during that period limited his filmography until a cinematic revival commenced in 2013.

With the resurgence of the film industry, Saeed embraced the opportunity to work on numerous movies. Notably, he became a part of commercially successful films like “Main Hoon Shahid Afridi,” “Bin Roye,” “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani,” and “Punjab Nahi Jaungi.” “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani” notably achieved a significant milestone as the fourth highest-grossing Pakistani film of all time. In addition, “Punjab Nahi Jaungi” secured the position of the second highest-grossing Pakistani film of all time and emerged as the highest-grossing film in the Pakistani cinema landscape for 2017.

In 2018, Saeed continued his cinematic journey by starring in “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2,” a film that, as of 2019, had attained the distinction of being the highest-grossing Pakistani film ever. Following the enormous box office success, he shared exciting plans for the future in an interview with Dawn Images. Saeed revealed that a third installment in the “JPNA” franchise was in the works and slated for release within two years. Furthermore, he announced the development of two other films, one scripted by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and the other by Vasay Chaudhry.

Most recently, in 2022, Saeed graced the big screen with his presence in Nadeem Baig’s “London Nahi Jaunga,” further solidifying his position as a prominent figure in the Pakistani film industry.
