John Frederick Miller (1759–1796) was a British illustrator known primarily for his work in the field of botanical illustration.

Miller was born to the artist Johann Sebastian Müller (1715 – c. 1790). Alongside his brother James, he created paintings based on the sketches made by Sydney Parkinson during James Cook’s inaugural voyage. In 1772, Miller joined Joseph Banks on an expedition to Iceland.

One of Miller’s notable publications was “Cimelia Physica. Figures of rare and curious quadrupeds, birds, &c., together with several of the most elegant plants” (1796), featuring text contributions by George Shaw.
