Ed Miller (Kentucky politician)
Edwin Earl Miller, often known as Ed Miller, was an American politician hailing from Kentucky. Serving as a member of the Kentucky Senate from 1999 to 2003, he made significant contributions to his state’s political landscape. Miller’s entry into politics gained traction in 1998 when he secured victory over incumbent senator Denny Nunnelley for renomination. However, his trajectory faced a shift in 2002 due to redistricting, prompting him to contest in the 28th district after the 30th district was relocated to southeastern Kentucky. Despite his efforts, he fell short of clinching the Democratic nomination, losing to incumbent senator R. J. Palmer. Miller passed away in May 2005 at the age of 73, leaving behind a legacy in Kentucky politics.
