She continued her success with her role in Hum TV’s “Yeh Raha Dil” in 2017, where she acted opposite Ahmed Ali. In the series, Zaidi portrayed Hayat, a character whose mother had passed away, and her father had abandoned her at a young age. Yumna Zaidi, originally hailing from Lahore, currently resides in Texas, while her professional commitments frequently take her between Karachi and Lahore. Yumna Zaidi continues to maintain a close-knit family life. Tragically, her father, Zameendar Zaidi, passed away in June 2019, and her mother, Shabana Naheed Zaidi, is a dedicated homemaker. Yumna’s roots trace back to the village of Arif Wala in the Punjab province of Pakpattan. She holds a master’s degree in interior design and has previously worked as a radio jockey and host.
